It was 2011 when I unleashed my designing Talent, A Tanzanian nationality based in Nairobi Kenya, Terry Watowa, began her love affair with fashion at an early age. However, the real motivation came from watching her mother who was a seamstress and a batik print maker, As an African Woman of Tanzanian Heritage I grew up with African textiles; they were always an integral part of my culture. Growing up, I often found it difficult to find modern and trendy African Inspired pieces so I created my own designs to fill this void.
